Q. 12. What is objective setting under PPBS?
Objective setting is another central feature of PPBS. Indeed, ministry objectives inform the program structure development as, generally, a program is assigned to achieving a ministry objective. Each program and its activities have their objectives as well. These objectives are a disaggregation of the overall ministry objectives. If the program and activity objectives are being achieved, that would mean the ministry objectives are also being achieved.
